令和５年２月６日月曜日に、工学部の短期受入プログラムに参加した台湾・国立陽明交通大学からの留学生の修了式を行いました。
On Monday, February 6, 2023, we held a completion ceremony for an international student from National Yangming Jiaotong University in Taiwan who participated in the short-term acceptance program of the Faculty of Engineering.
留学生は１月上旬から１か月間本学に滞在し、研究室で実験やリサーチ等の活動を行い、休日には研究室の学生と市内観光に出かけるなど積極的に交流を行いました。
She stayed at our university for one month from early January, conducting experiments and research in the laboratory, and actively interacted with students in the laboratory by going sightseeing around Matsuyama city on her day off.
台湾の気候とは随分違って、寒さが厳しい時期の滞在となりましたが、体調を崩すことなく元気にプログラムを終えることができました。
The climate was quite different from Taiwan’s, and she stayed during a period of severe cold, but she was able to complete the program without getting sick.
留学生は滞在中にすっかり愛媛の美味しいみかんに魅了されたようで、帰国までに愛媛のみかんをできるだけたくさん食べるつもりだと話してくれました。プログラムを存分に楽しむことができ、愛媛大学を去るのが少し寂しく、また本学に戻って来たいと話していました。
She seemed to be completely fascinated by Ehime’s delicious mandarin oranges during her stay, and said that she plans to eat as many Ehime mandarin oranges as possible before returning home. She said she thoroughly enjoyed the program, was a little sad about leaving Ehime University, and wanted to come back again.
修了式では、工学部長より留学生に修了証が渡され、記念写真を撮りました。
At the completion ceremony, the dean of the engineering department presented the international student with a certificate of completion, and they took a commemorative photo.
