受入プログラム関連

短期海外交流プログラム　受入留学生が日本語を学びました。Short-term overseas exchange program : Accepted international students learned Japanese.

令和６年度の短期受入プログラム（夏季）で来学し工学部の研究室で学ぶ留学生が、日本語講師による日本語クラスを受講しました。今回受講したのは、台湾・国立高雄科技大学の学生２名とマレーシア・マラヤ大学の学生１０名です。

International students who came to Ehime University on the short-term acceptance program (summer) in 2024 took Japanese classes by Japanese language instructors. The participants this time were 2 students from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) ,Taiwan and 10 students from University of Malaya(UM), Malaysia.

日本語クラスは４回開催され、学生は難しい日本語を、講師の工夫された授業で楽しく学び、日本語の理解を深めました。

The Japanese class was held four times, and the students had fun learning difficult Japanese through the instructor’s creative lessons and deepened their understanding of the language.

短期海外交流プログラム　マレーシア留学生のオリエンテーションを行いました。Short-term overseas exchange program : Orientation for Malaysian students was held.

令和６年７月３０日に、工学部短期海外交流プログラムで来日した留学生のオリエンテーションを行いました。

On July 30, 2024, we held an orientation for international students who came to Japan as part of the Faculty of Engineering’s short-term overseas exchange program.

今回参加したのは、マレーシア・マラヤ大学の工学部６名と情報学部４名です。留学生は本学に一か月滞在し、専門分野の研究を行います。

The participants this time were 6 students from Faculty of Engineering and 4 students from Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia.

International students will stay at our university for one month and conduct research in their specialized field.

オリエンテーションでは、国際連携委員会の板垣委員長より、愛媛大学の研究プログラムや松山市の滞在について説明がありました。

At the orientation, Chairman Itagaki of the International Collaboration Committee gave an explanation about Ehime University’s reserarch programs and their stay in Matsuyama city.

留学生は、委員長の説明に、熱心に耳を傾けていました。

The internatilal students listented intensely to the chairman’s explanation.

海外留学支援・派遣プログラム参加学生の出発式を行いました。Departure ceremony was held for students participating in the study abroad support and dispatch program.

令和６年７月１９日金曜日に、インドネシアのバンドン工科大学、ガジャマダ大学、マレーシアのマラヤ大学に短期留学する学生８名（出発式には４名のみ参加）の出発式を行いました。

On Friday, July 19, 2024, a departure ceremony was held for eight students who will be studying abroad at Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, University of Malaya in Malaysia.

学生は派遣先大学に約一か月滞在し、研究室で実験やリサーチを行い、現地の学生と交流を深めます。

Students will stay at the host university for one month, conducting experiments and research in the laboratory, and deepening interactions with local people.

学生はそれぞれに目的意識を持って、留学に出発します。ある学生はシャイな自身の殻を破って現地の人々と交流したいと話し、ある学生は現地で研究活動を更に深めたいと話していました。

Each student will depart to study abroad with some purposes. One student said he wanted to break out of his shy shell and actively talk with local people, and another said he wanted to further deepen his research activities there.

出発式では、森脇工学部長から、派遣学生に３つのアドバイスがありました。一つ目は、せっかくの留学なので、英語漬けの毎日にしてみること。二つ目は、日本人の自覚を持って行動すること。三つ目は、日本のことをよく勉強し、現地の人に日本についての話ができるようにしておくことです。

At the ceremony, Dean of Engineering Moriwaki gave three pieces of advice to the students. First, to try to immerse yourselves in English every day since you’re studying abroad. The second is to act with Japanese awareness. The third thing is to know Japan well and be able to talk about it to local people.

最後に、逞しくなって帰国したみなさんと元気に再会したいとのお話がありました。

Lastly, the Dean talked that he’d like to reunite with the students who has returned to Japan in good health and more strength.

短期海外派遣プログラムに参加する学生を対象に、英語講習を行いました。We held English Classes for the students participating in the short-term overseas dispatch program.

短期海外派遣プログラムに参加する学生８名が、４回の英語クラスを受講しました。クラスは英会話を中心に行われ、学生は会話を広げる練習を頑張りました。

Eight students participating in the short-term overseas dispatch program attended four English Classes. The class focused on English conversation, and the students tried to expand their conversation.

留学を前に、学生は熱心に受講し、新しいフレーズ等を講師から学びました。

Before studying abroad, the students enthusiastically attended the classes and learned new phrases from the instructor.

理工学研究科（工学系）短期派遣プログラムの留学事前説明会（安全講習会）を行いました。We held a pre-study briefing session (safety seminar) for Graduate School of Science and Engineering (Engineering Department) short-term dispatch program.

６月２１日金曜日に、令和６年度短期派遣プログラム参加学生を対象に、留学事前説明会（安全講習会）を行いました。

On Friday, June 21st, we held a study abroad pre-study briefing (safety session) for students participating in the 2024 short-term dispatch program.

説明会では、板垣国際連携委員長より、留学に際しての安全管理や連絡体制についての説明がありました。また、配布資料の留学ガイドブックにある過去の留学体験をよく読み、派遣先の国（マレーシア、インドネシア）について事前によく調べておくようにとのアドバイスがありました。

At the briefing session, International Cooperation Committee Chairman Itagaki explained about safety management and emergency communication flow when studying abroad. The students were also advised to carefully read past study abroad experiences in the provided guidebook and to research the destination country (Malaysia, Indonesia) in advance.

参加学生は、配布資料によく目を通し、留学準備の確認を行いました。

Participating students carefully read the distributed materials and confirmed their preparations.
